NYCxReuse (June 21-22, 2019 at the Metropolitan Pavilion) is organized by DSNY’s donateNYC Program in collaboration with the NYC Center for Materials Reuse. The goals of NYCxReuse are to highlight the many ways in which NYC is shaped by materials reuse, to unpack and investigate the most pressing issues driving reuse forward, and to showcase the many facets of the reuse sector as well as the many inroads to materials reuse for residents, nonprofits, and businesses.
NYCxReuse Conference (June 21) is a full-day public conference including four headline panels featuring high-profile speakers (this year’s panel themes: food recovery, textile reuse, reuse and social services, and reuse futures); an Innovative Reuse Expo featuring hands-on workshops, activations, samples, and demos of reuse from all over the city and across industries; and a networking session to form connections among participants and attendees.
